Orientation Programme 2019

Inaugural function of Bachelor and Master of Science in  Food Technology was graced by Shri Dhaval Raval (CMD, Abhyuday Pvt. Ltd), Shri Gagan Bedi (Plant Head, Hyfun Food), Shri Naimesh Kannada (Sr. Food & Dairy Technology, Abhyuday Pvt. Ltd.), Dr. Mahendra Sharma (Hon.Pro.Chancellor & Director General, Ganpat University) and Dr. R. K. Patel (Pro Vice Chancellor & Executive Dean,  Faculty of Pharmacy & Faculty of Science, Ganpat University).  Dr. R. K. Patel, welcomed students and parents. He also introduced the invited dignitaries. Dr. Mahedra Sharma highlighted distinct features of the University achievements and culture along with growth and requirement of food technology in current era.  Shri Gagan Bedi explained the evolution of food industries in India. He shared his valuable experience at various companies and level, where he worked.  He emphasized on quality, automation and scientific processing of food. Shri Naimesh Kansara discussed innovation in food products, processing, storage, packaging,  transportation annd food service. Shri Dhaval Raval expressed his views about challenges and future of food industries with the reference of the rise in revenue generation through export and job opportunities created by this field.
